Mr Yates has just finished a late shift on BBC World - he was looking rather cheery on the 0000GMT bulletin

I hate to start 2006 by whinging, but why in God's name is News 24 carrying this twaddle with a mindreader? Shocked

F knows , a lengthy break for the news 24 people...........
Does the BBC think were all so drunk they could get away with showing this variety show which was part seaside special part it's a knockout for an hour.
They make it worse by using big nose nat instead of a more suitable showbiz personality to host it. Cant they afford anyone?

Andrew marr looked foolish tonight , he's just not up to dealing with this type of nonsense . The bbc mingement picked the wrong man . Mark Mardell should have been the one , he always liked these sort of pantomime performances and chatting to scottish idiots and he worked with andrew neil for a couple of years. Smile.

Am I right in thinking the weather was going out while Darren was presenting on N24?

Whose shift was it on N24?
