Anyone else see that 0300GMT TOTH? It started as normal then about 3 seconds in the headline bed stopped and in the background you could here a loud humming noise, then at about the 3 headline in the bed started playing again and then the humming noise stopped, and when it was turned off it sounded exactly like a vacum cleaner!

I think I'm going to be an expert in Pantomime today ......

Tuan Kay Tea 1861 - source of Widow Twanky.

.... how many times has today's 'Fact File' been shown, I know it's Christmas ('Oh no it isn't' echoes around the land!) but surely there's a little more material languishing around the newsroom somewhere.

It's behind you!

Surprised

It was nice to see David Robertson (from Reporting Scotland) presenting on BBC News 24 earlier this evening Smile

Ah it must feel like home for him after his early stints on the channel when it launched!

did anyone see that he quoted catherine tate when interviewing pantomime dames and he turned round at the end of the interview and said to his co-presenter "oh how VERY dare you"...the banter was brilliant! Razz

David really is a good presenter (the only thing I can't stand on RS is the way he wobbles when he talks to camera sometimes - but if RS had a proper set, this wouldn't be a problem! Laughing ).

I don't think he gets a chance to interact fully with his co-presenters on RS though, as we know, he and Ms Bird are not the best of friends, so it is nice to see him on News 24, where I think he is better suited.
