Why have News 24 been claiming throughout the afternoon that Bob Geldof has spoken 'exclusively' to them?

Presumably they've not noticed the interview Sky did at about 10 this morning and have been playing all day.

They would have both been standing at the screen at the 09.00 TOTH as Breakfast were using the main desk area until 09.00, the turnaround was probably too tight.

Unusual for the main man himself to get a link wrong Very Happy

Interestingly they have just had Peter Gibbs in the studio talking to David and Louise before doing the weather from the studio screen

Of course if anyone had used the abbreviations BBC or N24 there wouldn't have been a problem. So what's wrong with ne1, when we all know it is an abbreviation for 'anyone'.

Does it take any more effort to type "anyone" rather than "ne1" - it's very poor. This isn't a text message, this is a forum where most at least make the effort to write on here as we'd like to be heard in real life.

Believe it or not I don't speak in text speak in real life, and nor would anyone else.

I could never understand why all London firearms officers were from a suburb of Southampton - SO19

Tori Good loaded the wrong forecast a couple of hours ago; realised her mistake immediately when 'MATT TAYLOR' appeared at the beginning of her forecast. She said that she'd try to simply tell people what the weather would be without the graphics, but for some reason the graphics then continued, showing us what the weather for Christmas Day was - at which point she decided to abandon ship, and said "I think I'd better let News 24 take over from here" before it cut to two minutes of promos and into a 30s countdown.

Anyone else see that 0300GMT TOTH? It started as normal then about 3 seconds in the headline bed stopped and in the background you could here a loud humming noise, then at about the 3 headline in the bed started playing again and then the humming noise stopped, and when it was turned off it sounded exactly like a vacum cleaner!
