Talking of snow... I'm sick to death that this light dusting of the white stuff is being treated as a main story. For Christ's sake! They are calling it 'severe' weather. Haven't got a clue!

He was pretty much the main Male Anchor at one point i believe. He always used to do Weekend 24. Once it was him and Chris Eakin which was unusual as you dont normally get two same sex presenters together.

Are you sure about that? the OB vans have an extra camera that they stick on the roof, to give an extra shot. It doesn't need a second cameraman.
BBC TV trucks that also have masts (for terrestrial links) have cameras built in at the top of the mast. No need for extra rigging.

Reminds me of the time over on Breakfast when Moira did a two way with Emma Jane Kirby in Rome, but referred to her as Kathy all the way through.
(She was obviously thinking of a pop star, Kathy Kirby).

I completely disagree. He is the best presenter on Reporting Scotland and has far more 'newsreading talent' than the likes of Chris Lowe and Matthew Amroliwala.
