How long have they been doing the fancy adverts for News 24 at the end of the national bulletins?
I caught one last night (before MOTD), where the News 24 tower spun onto screen (without time), twisted into the corner and then brought up a standard News 24 aston about George Best's funeral over pictures of the event.
Chris Lowe just said Tim Willcox will be presenting from 0000. This implies he will be doing the 0000-0500 slot (usually occupied by Martine Croxall) and therefore going out on BBC World.
Is this Tim's first foray into BBC World presentation???

His first foray into BBC World, maybe, but definitely not his first foray into World News, as Tim was one of the regular presenters of ITN World News when it went out on NBC Super Channel.
We have had Tim on World on quite a few occasions in the past, particularly during the period when the World newsroom was being renovated.
During that period, World was occupying the national studio, but when BBC1 bulletins were going out, here on World we had simulcasts with N24, and they were very often (at weekends) presented by Tim Willcox.
He also did a few stand alone World bulletins in the past when he was relatively new to BBC News.
Bugger I missed it. The man knows no bounds; whatever time of the day or night he's on. He must be shattered as he was on in his usual Sunday morning slot from 0900 - 1300.
By far the best cover presenter they have. His presenting style is excellent - and his hair speaks for itself.
