Not that im aware of! on BBC World we get a crap World tower, and we usually see news 24's popping up behind it.

No. It was probably an accident. One and News 24 should have the N24 tower.

Isn't one tower generated automatically and then the other is inserted by the studio? Which tower is it that comes on first?

On BBC World, you get a static tower generated by pres this is on straight away, BBC News 24 then put their tower into the bulletin, on World you can see the animation happening beneath the static World tower.
