But isnt this found in BBC's website?

Second one today.

Take your self over to the TV Forum Stupid Corner. and don't forget the hat.

It was a joke. Sarcasm. Humour.

Kate Silverton now officially seems to have got the job of Anna Jones. On her profile on the Breakfast website it says, "Kate regularly presents BBC News 24 from Monday to Thursday, 0900 to 1300."

Ah yes, and therein lies a tale. About why Anna Jones left in the first place.

In that Newswatch interview with Brian Barron, where is the studio that he's in? It's certainly not South Dakota - and I know I know it but can't place it.

I think you'll find it's Truro...

Does anyone know if N24 have got rid of that very annoying squeeky woman who talks a lot of rubbish about business - Julius Ceasar or some silly name like that?

She was off for a week, then came back, and she hasn't been on for the last 3 weeks now. We can hope.

I think the problem lies more with the trivial way N24 covers the business, far too chatty-chatty. It's not always possible to use the projection screen side of the set, but the business presenter should speak into camera all the time and give us some solid news as opposed to a light chat followed by a report and markets (if there's time)

News should have gravitas and you need to believe the person who is presenting especially with something like business news. When she interviews any of the City people you can tell they have no respect for her at all.

Business news on BBC News 24 isn't really business news, though, is it? It's more like consumer affairs stuff.

Stuff you find in the loft and selling it on, how to write a will, travel insurance, etc.

They might throw something in about the FTSE at the end, just for good measure you understand.

The other week I think they had something about bouncy castles.

Agreed. Business should come from the screen where they can show graphs and things, sport should be the chitty chatty at the desk style.

Jane Hill has been brilliant Live from New Orleans this week. She could do with a hair stylist though, she looked a wreck! Wink

They always trot out the accessibility argument for making things chatty and fluffy. N24 seems to be all about Pretty faces and acres of red plastic and fablon - theres just too much chummyness

Perhaps pretty is not quite the word. I just can't believe that the Woman who presents the business news was chosen because of her intelect. She must have changed her name to Julia Ceasar for the screen no parent would land there kid with that name.
