Yes while the ticker looks like an in-tray on News 24, the World one is totally flat!

I thought Lyce Doucet was fantastic today. She coped tremendously well with the breaking news story this afternoon of the protestors refusing to leave a synagogue over the Gaza Withdrawal Crisis. She's a great reporter/presenter and is always good at coping with incoming news reports unlike some presenters (Peter Sissons) who just completely fall to pieces when a breaking news story comes in.

Please, promote Lyce Doucet to a news presenter on News 24 or give her her own show.

Downing Street has stated the Prime Minister forgot to put on his foundation and fake tan and that he'll be at least another 2 hours until he can be fit to return to that news conference eh, more when we get it..."

I didnt see Lyse, but i did see Orla Geurin on News 24 at 1:30pm. She was doing some fantastic reporting from just outside the synagogue.

Orla did 1.30-2, Then Lyse took over and was on air solid from 2.00-4.30 on both News24 and World.

Lyse is fantastic at anchoring from the field so it's likely she will remain, and would prefer to remain, doing just that

Earlier on today (this afternoon) during the breaking news in Gaza, the graphics were freaking out! They were mainly using the smaller version of the strap but the information kept wiping and fading almost every second and every time it expanded up to the name strap, it did so about 4 or 5 times repeatedly for each person.

Were the graphics coming from World or was someone having a bad day in the gallery?

SUSAN OSMAN presenting now. Has she presented at all since the strike?

She did the 11-1 shift last night as well.

Nice to see her, but I would have thought she would still be in many colleagues' black books since the strike.

What makes you think she isn't?
