posting long countdown info has ALWAYS been on TVF. Don't kid yourself david, you'#ve been here as long, if not longer than me so you should remember

Surely that is the entire point of TVF? We're all here because we find things like that intresting.

have you been asleep for the last three years? Every time they do N24 from N9 there is a thread involving comments on the *long countdowns*. When BBC1 handed over with a 90 second there would eb a thread about it. The only difference here is the definition of long is shorter because the countdown itself is shorter. 55 is the new 80, one could say. Whether that makes it into Private Eye is another matter but my original point stands. this is exactly what TVF has always been about.

That was odd.. Why was the clock late? Didn't spin up after the heads, only just now mid report. Oh 37sec countdown as well, I recorded it, because I'm a member of TVF and thats what I do. I'm not joking I really did, ask j2k.

Uninteresting though long countdowns maybe, it certainly beats listing all the presenters that appear!

Thanks for that. The whole point of these forums is to comment on aspects of television that you find interesting. I don't make comments about how uninteresting I find the discussion of certain things, so maybe you should just respect other people's interests, and only make comments in a positive manner rather than a negative one. There were no criticisms of the list of presenters on the ITV News Channel, so why the criticism of the list that I jointly compiled about BBC News 24? I'd be interested to know why you have specifically picked on me, especially with the amount of crap that is posted elsewhere by people who only have interest in trolling the forum. Maybe your energies would be best concentrated elsewhere.
