It looks like (Via BBC Website clip) that Tim was in the National studios. The announcer did indeed get his name wrong... Tim Walcott! I think maybe the announce is a Arsenal Fan.......

It's quite hard when you're only told 2 secs before you do the anno and you don't quite hear properly.

Who was the announcer that introduced Tim on the lunchtime news? They got his name wrong; Tim Wollacot or something she said. I'd also like to know because her voice sounds familiar but not as a BBC1 announcer. US.

I have a feeling she's the same one that introduced the 'Global Warning' series of news specials as 'Global Warming' for the entire week.

Yeah, has he done any previous presenting? Was quite good actually. BBC News Online have spelt his name wrongly if you click on Watch Now.

Does anyone have any pictures of N24 coming from the nationals studio - there were different graphics of the newsroom on the video wall. They looked really good - even better on N24 sunday.

Anyone happen to record last Friday's Newsnight? Just wondering if there might be caps of the incident described in today's Guardian Diary:
Quote:
Did anyone else see, during Newsnight's interview last Friday with junior health minister Caroline Flint on the iSoft fiasco, two people walk across the busy office backdrop behind her apparently balancing tea-trays on their heads? Just wondering.

Could be fun...

Is it me of is the news at one coming from the other end of the studio... I thought it always came from the left but is today on the right. Am I going mad?
