Then don't read it Gavin, if it's causing you that much distress. Sorry, for going too deep. I thought the other month it was just a p*ss take, but looking at the caps above it seems very true. It makes my blood boil.

No, you didn't answer my question at all, just spout a load of abuse at me for airing a strong opinion on this matter, which not only is immoral, but has scientifically been proven to be dangerous.

She's 41 now, and 41 + 18 (assuming you mean that as the end of the child's teenage years) = 59. AFAIK the average pension age is 65, so I fail to see how your point makes any sense.

Moralities of older pregnancies are perhaps topics best saved for Metropol.

Nice ten minute plug to start tonight's Ten O'Clock Bulletin Rolling Eyes

Also, I thought Fergal Keane wasn't going to be a war reporter again, what happened to that? (along with Flac wearing Bowen)

No, 19 of course. So 41 + 19 = 60, the age women are classed as a pensioner.

Any chance this discussion could be taken to Metropol?

Please.

Anyway, in a vague attempt to get back on topic...

I notice the Press Red interactive DOG on BBC News programmes and News 24 has been changed (on Freeview at least). It's now black, grey and red... presumably in an attempt to match the new astons. It looks quite neat.

It also, however, no longer seems to disappear automatically after a few seconds on BBC One as it used to.

it hasn't vanished on it's own for ages, you have to press green. Highly annoying.

However the new look is rather nice.

Nah, I don't particularly want it there, either.

Let's just never speak of it again.

It was certainly timing out on BBC One bulletins for me until yesterday. As you say, News 24 has been a green button job for quite a while now though.
