It seems that with the latest reshuffle BBC News are now being far more flexible with their presenters, perhaps due to Huw and George now doing much more work, with their extra shifts. So far we have seen:
1:00 News
MAIN: Sophie Raworth, Darren Jordan
RELIEF: Sian Williams, Jon Sopel, Jane Hill
6:00 News
MAIN: Natasha Kaplinsky, George Alagiah
RELIEF: Sian Williams, Dermot Murnaghan, Bill Turnbull
10:00 News
MAIN: Huw Edwards
RELIEF: Fiona Bruce, Natasha Kaplinsky, George Alagiah, Darren Jordon
and this is all in the space of a few weeks. In the 2003 relaunch, we only saw any flexibility after 3 months (the first time there was a change was when GA took a week off from the 6 in April IIRC).
