If you remember it was said ages ago on this forum that the whole way presenters were scheduled on BBC News would be altered.

At the time people assumed this to mean that there wouldn't be permanent presenters of the 1, 6 and 10, but it looks now that this wasn't what they meant.

Instead, what we have is a much more flexible approach to scheduling with News 24 presenters being used much more on BBC One and vice versa, and even some BBC One presenters being used on BBC World.

Am I right, or just stumbing across something which is just a coincidence?

According to the Radio Times Sian Williams is down to present the Six next Monday with George Alagiah and again on Friday with… wait for it… Natasha Kaplinsky.

Will we see two females present together? Or will this be another of the RT's mistakes (like Moira presenting the Sunday evening bulletin or Maxine Mawhinney on the Ten)? Only time will tell. If so, it will be the first time since the pre-1999 Six (excluding when one person is on location like last Friday) when Anna Ford used to present regularly with either Jill Dando or Jennie Bond.

Who was presenting today? Jon again or did they bring in Darren?

'Twas Darren today.

As a consequence Julian Worricker was on with Louise on 24 from 2.

Wonder if anyone saw someone wearing a checkered suit with a rather fab presenter walking in the background of the N24 newsroom?

Julian Worricker also did the news summary on BBC One on Monday morning at 11.00 (Sian did the one at 12.15 and the One).

It's not a mistake. Remember that Breakfast a few years ago had Mishal and Natasha presenting. The all girl show with Julia at the LSE, Sue Thearle on Sport and Helen W on weather!!

How could we forget? My TV screen still hasn't quite thawed out from the frosty atmosphere between them.
