Does anyone know why Huw did only present Monday's edition of the Ten in recent weeks? IIRC it's been like this:
Huw on Monday
someone else on Tuesday-Thursday (George, Dermot, Natasha yesterday)
Fiona on Friday
They might have dragged Huw in on the Monday if they felt the top story was sufficiently heavyweight, or maybe it depends on which football team he's supporting in the world cup.

Or more likely he's working on something which requires him to be elsewhere during the rest of the week?
Despite Natasha's reasonable performance on the ten, I would like to see Sophie get the top job at the next reshuffle. I think she must be the most heavyweight woman on BBC News now, with the possible exception of Fiona.
She is excellent on the one, but IMHO deserves a much more high profile role. Who did the 10 last night?

Does Sophie want the job though. She may be very happy and settled with the One.
Plus, Huw Edwards works most of the day when doing the ten. With Sophie being the mother of two young children, she may be more inclined to want to go home earlier.
How long do you think it will be until we see the next reshuffle at the National News?
I would like -
Breakfast: Simon McCoy & Kate Silverton (Mons-Thurs)
Bill Turnbull & Susanna Reid (Weekends)
One: Sian Williams (Mons-Thurs) George Alagiah (Fri)
Six: Dermot Murnaghan and Fiona Bruce
Ten: Sophie Raworth (Mon-Wed), Huw Edwards (Thurs-Fri)
I would move Kaplinsky to the morning shifts on N24 to replace Kate as I thought she was better suited to the channel when she made a few appearances earlier this month. Darren Jordon, I just find dull.
