Although as the music trails off you can be waiting quite a while for the a quiet point to hit the button I would guess.

Is there not also an issue that in some regions when they soft-opt Digital goes 14:9 until they cut away from network?

I didn't see last nights trailer for the BBC News at ten, however I think the BBC just played out possible last nights trailer. The headlines related to the death of the first female in Iraq, and the 17 year old selected for England's world cup team but who has never played a premiership game.
Am I correct? Or am I imagining it?

I have to admit, I was thinking that it seemed like yesterday's headlines as well!

The afternoon news summary on BBC1 was presented by Carrie Gracie, a first?

However I doubt she will be back later, as she just ended the bulletin with "the next news here is at 6, now the news teams where you are."

Shes probably presenting the 5 o'clock News on News 24 then,i know she has done before, perhaps this will now be her new gig.

I'm not usually one for getting onto the subject of how the presenter looks, but Fiona is very good looking.
