And nice touch from the Network CA as well specifically referring to Anna "presenting her last lunchtime news here on BBC One" I assume she'd have heard that?

Do you know if BBC ONE London on analogue opts out to run their own symbol into the news, or do they take network?

BBC London's continuity is the network alternative if regional continuity fails. It comes from TVC - so yes she'd have heard that on the talkback.

I noticed recently that they're running BBC London branded trails (Well the Politics Show one at least!) on the SKY version.

I thought it used to be completely network references, ie running a BBC Four trail on SKY in place of a BBC London trail on analogue?

It's BBC ONE Network continuity, from the Broadcast Centre.

Does every report need to be presented by both of them, I think it makes the presenter not speaking look akward.

To me, the Six appears to have been choreographed very much like ITV News. Two standing at the start then to the desk, 2 at the wall at the mid point etc.

I've been meaning to ask this for quite a while now. Everytime I watch the BBC News on analogue, when the national titles begin after the regional headlines, there's a green blip on the screen which lasts for about half a second. Does anyone know what this is, because it happens every time on analogue and it really p***** me off.

It's the ARC - your region, I assume, is in 14:9 so the network has to revert back to 16:9, regardless of whatever set you're on. Newcastle always do it in the middle of the bloody clash - the strongest bit of the music.

EDIT: No, you're in 16:9 if you're in Leeds. Most likely ARC anyway

I'm intrigued. Thanks for clearing that up. Sorry, but what's ARC?
