Lack of name astons on BBC One sounds as if Pres/RedBee took a pre-TOG feed to lose the BBC News 24 clock and tower, but this meant they also lost the TOG astons?

AIUI this is not the beginning of cost cutting - it was a result of a fault in the main BBC One studio quite close to transmission.

Also could this be the beginning of the changes, with BBC 1 moving in with News 24 for a couple of days while a temporary studio is set up?
No. N6 was set up and ready to go, but had technical problems.
(The nationals will be moving to TC11, so won't need to share with News 24 like you've suggested)

Don't know where you get that idea from...
Temporarily, I mean, while N6's new set is being built.. Or have I got my wires crossed?

There is no new set being built. The Studio broke so they went in N24, now they fixed it and all is back to normal. Nothing new is happening yet.

Despite the faults, I think that did work quite well considering, I always thought the Ten O Clock News Hour seems like a waste, just another method to market News 24, I think they should have made it similar in format to TWT, and maybee even show the output across all platforms of BBC News, i.e N24 BBC1 WORLD

The Ten would not work on World as it has to much of a UK bias. They often lead on stories which do not rate even an OOV on World as the story is purley of interest to domestic viewers. The 10 programme is one of those taken by WLIW in America and is thus on of the important american programmes on World.

You have your wires slightly crossed. Nationals are not going to TC11 - some output is but not nationals.

I'll just go back to studying the diagram again.

BBC News is 10 minutes late tonight. This was because Terry and Tash overran by 6 minutes with Making your mind up and Vernon and Tess, over ran again by 4 minutes. Tut tut. If you ask me the BBC were being far too ambitious giving Making your mind up results only 20 minutes.

This is the plan so far

2012 Broadcasting House in a News Centre for the 21st Century
2016 News24 relocated to Norwich in a new News centre of excellence
2020 All television relocated to Edinburgh as part of regional restructuring
2025 All news back to White City as part of plan to bring TV News to the heart or the nation
2028 Value for money study results on Radio and TV services being joined at key parts of the day, with the Today programme and Breakfast being merged.
2031 All news moved to Bush House in a big new news centre for the mid 21st century
2035 Radio and TV split off to give each it's own identity. brand new TV programme in the mornings from 6-9 replacing Today. This is modern thinking for a modern age says BBC spokesman.
2038 Radio moves out to the old TV Centre, now a multi screen cinema and shopping centre, and occupies the top floor of the east tower.
2042 Brilliant new scheme launched to co site Radio and TV in Birmingham.

Continues indefinitely
