I was only half listening, but I'm sure I heard them introduce a guest as being in their "temporary London studio". The guest was sitting with a London Skyline keyed behind him.

Did I mishear this, or have the BBC got a temp setup for some reason?

More likely to be Central London studio. There are three. One is at Westminster - they can have the London skyline instead of the Westminster background. It could have been Bush House which is normally a generic London background or the Bush House Newsroom background, or it could be BBC London but then that is normally the newsroom. There is no studio at Broadcasting House, hasn't been one for a few years now.

Nicky, any inkling on if there is to be any improvements to the Ten News Hour set-up - particularly with the integration of National and N24 graphics, considering how obviously awful they were last night for viewers on both channels?

Am I the only one who thinks the rejigged graphics are a bit of an improvement? OK so they're still bland, but they look a bit neater than they did before.

i think BBC ONE News graphics should just have the N24 animating ones - and maybe even a dog saying BBC NEWS AT 1/6/10 or something.

The One o'clock news has returned to using the old name astons but is continuing with the new Live bug minus location details and also has kept the new story slug thing.

One question, why bother returning to the old name astons?

The audio/video One o'Clock News link on the BBC News site is currently showing BBC World. Bit odd isn't it?

EDIT: Ahh, someone's now pulled the plug

Probably a mistake on the server.

C4 news famously reverted completely by mistake to their previous package once...

Yep a New Set. Sometime in April / May , and then Newsnight/Newsround/Working Lunch will get a new set, and BBC Breakfast comes from a new studio I think.

AFAIK there is a new national set in April/May where Breakfast will also be presented from, and Working Lunch/Newsround/Newsnight will still share a set though will have a new look.
