Great one doing the rounds at the minute, started I beleive by a certain Sunday newspaper.
"Can anyone confirm or deny Lady Kaplinsky's new nickname in make-up rooms - Tash - Has nothing to do with her name been Natasha? "
Sophie is now starting to really show, bless her. I would agree that Dermot makes Huw look tired, but Huw seems to have lost that sparkle he once had on the six.

On the topic of the Six, is there any more info on George's replacement that we would be "surprised at" - is George still going to be leaving the Six?

My personal view from when Demot did it was that he sounded bored, was a bit rigid, and showed why Huw had the top job.
Don't get me wrong - I think Dermot is good. But Huw, imho, is the most natural there is, he sounds like he's interested in the stories he's reading and puts thought into the questions he's asking making them sound unscripted.

I thought that this was just speculation. My bets are on Dermot Murnaghan moving to the six and joining Natasha there. This could mean Simon McCoy and Kate Silverton moving permenantly to Breakfast or perhaps Jon Sopel to Breakfast, now that he's on The Politics Show.

It's hard to tell under all those layers of make-up. She could have facial hair like Dave Lee Travis and we'd be none the wiser.

According to the

Sophie should be back today with Sian only doing Monday and Tuesday.
George is on holiday next week with Bill and Sophie Mon - Thu and Bill and Sian on Fri (normally Sophie is off on Mondays, so they must have swapped). Sian is also doing Breakfast on Fri (with Simon) and Dermot is doing the Ten on Wed with Fiona on Thu as well as Fri.

Presumaby One scheduled as normal then. I'd expect Tim on Friday morning.
Looks like a fab lineup then.

yep, on n24. I reckon Philip Hayton would be good in that slot.
