I like Mishal . I wish she was presenting instead of some of these less able female presenters on the 1 and 6 pm shows.

how come Keplunsky hasn't been sent out to Ipswich? (Too cold?)

How come it's always George?

I'm making an assumption here, George was initally sent (whilst Kaplunksky put her feet up for a week).

Maybe there's a new 'celebrity' series which need a 'light entertainer' coming up.

Probably because people remember that George used to be a big time reporter for BBC and therefore has greater credibility on location, than say Natasha or Jane Hill.

Same could be said on ITV News for Mark Austin always being sent on location, has the background of being a big time reporter for ITV News and getting the big stories.

Huw Edwards was also on location for the Suffolk Killings story and again, he was a former correcspondent. So again, same kind of credibility. If people remember that you were a reporter, then that kind of experience lends a lot of credibility to anchoring on location.

Let's face it, the words 'Credibillity' & 'Kaplinsky' are strangers to one another! Laughing

WOOOOOOOOOOOOO - Breaking News!

Natasha is Live on location!

Big screw up at the start to the Six tonight. What appeared to be Live pictures at the opening of the program were in fact tape which rewinded then into a shot of George. Check online later if you missed it.

Natasha's quite used to the outdoors - just found out she used to be a Scout!
