Newsday seems a bit off, at the point where London and Singapore readers introduce themselves camera cues as they are trying to move to seats. And now they've had a clip drop mid-play

And now a VT falls off air on Newsday just as Rico was moving from the catwalk to the desk

Very well handled tonight, nothing worse than a complete technical meltdown. Huw ever the pro.

Well Newsday is on an hour early!

Be interesting to see if we get the News channel in E or A at 11pm.

Or no News Channel at all.

They've joined BBC World. Newsday isn't on early, as such, as it's the first of the two editions that happen on BBC World which means I assume News Channel will now get the two editions.

They've given up on the news tonight and gone home early!!! Must be a serious incident?? Or some virus? It doesn't take my computer that long to log off and boot up again.

Just saying, I love the background when they do the dual screen on Newsday

Are there some comms issues with Rico in Singapore? He just walked off the catwalk and walked back on again not seeming to know where he was supposed to be!

They're not running a TV channel off your computer though are they?

They won't have gone home but decided it wasn't worth bothering with trying the equipment in the News Channel studio and just joined BBC World. Although I assume the ticker (on the News Channel) is somehow a News Channel-generated one?

Is the 1am edition GMT time a repeat of the second edition then or do they make 3 editions?
