I really liked the studio tonight, it looked fresh and still had elements of the normal studio but with clearer images, realy liked it. I just didn't understand why 'wheeled in' what looked like a huge plasma for the stories to be displayed on rather than using the screens as usual....
Its because there are no screens in N9, the backdrop is just printed.
Thanks for letting me know that, sorry if its already been mentioned, I think it looked really good though and again now on the late news the backdrop looks suitably darker for evening, it looks really nice, if only those lovely barcos displayed their images so clearly : )
Sorry if this has been mentioned, but why did tonight's bulletins come from N9? I thought they used N6 for the Sunday bulletins.
Doing technical etc works in both the regular News Channel / BBC One studio ( N6) & also the regular studio for Andy Marr/Politics Show/Working Lunch/Breakfast/Newsnight/Newsround (TC7).
Dunno about Newsround, but the other TC7 shows are on Christmas break at the moment & Breakfast comes from another studio during holiday periods anyway!
well that has to be one of the most shambolic openings ever to a BBC News bulletin. Too many errors to mention...Jane Hill seemingly the only unamateurish thing on screen for that 60 secs of torture
