BBC National News: Presentation

Not sure I'm liking some of the angles on tonight's six.... really distorting the studio!

We don't seem to be getting 3pm updates on BBC1 at all this week...not sure why because we are still getting 11am and 12.13pm updates!

Maybe its because unlike the mornings, afternoons have a different schedule to normal this week. Having said that though surely it could still have been fitted in between Only Fools and Horses, and Keeping Up Appearances?

Yes I know! - They had about 5 minutes of 'adverts' for Christmas programmes!

30 Minute bad weather special from News Channel on BBC ONE at 1100.

I am surprised to see that it is presented by Ben and Jane from the News Channel when really they should have sent someone like Sophie or Emily out on location to present it, also was there an update before 11am because I didn't see one.

Wheres the national news coming from with Nicholas Owen at the moment? I would've thought it would be in N9 like the news channel?

I really liked the studio tonight, it looked fresh and still had elements of the normal studio but with clearer images, realy liked it. I just didn't understand why 'wheeled in' what looked like a huge plasma for the stories to be displayed on rather than using the screens as usual....
