Did all regions opt early? I was watching on the news channel.
In Yorkshire we saw the full close with the lights dimming down etc.
Did some opt out at the end of Nick Higham's report?
It opted just as Mishal said goodbye, and before the shot changed.
And after more than 40 years they make a balls of the close of the final bulletin.

Yep they've gone now - not in the listings. Amazed they lasted this long rather than being dropped at the start of the year with the daytime changes. Oddly it does mean there is a now daytime news update on ITV and not BBC1!
