Nice ending to the six. Given a full close with theme rather than str8 to the regions

Screen shots of the final few seconds... In order of appearance on screen...

Zoom right back to the wide shot of entire studio, then back to a close up of Sophie slight pan back, before another shot of the news desk side of the studio with Nick Miller stood after presenting the last weather forecast from the barcos. Then the shot from outside the studio in the corridor with the lights going out.

Loved the end of the 6 tonight - plus Adam Parson's link on the News Channel kept in the spirit of this.

That studio 7 sign doesn't look original, I'm guessing it's been put in storage ahead of the closure of TVC.

Very nice. I think that proves once and for all that a proper close and straight into the regional programme works very nicely indeed

One of them got nicked!

Really nice that they did that, particularly as it's a studio with so much history (Saturday morning TV etc.) and one that won't be around when the building eventually re-opens.

Sophie posted this 360 view of TC7

That was a really good ending and full credit for them for doing that, now its finally hit me that we are seeing an end of an era Sad

BTW the first shot is from the final frame before it went to a shot of Sophie.

Seeing as this background will be pretty much redundant from Monday, it probably isn't much worth, but from the 360 view posted there, you can get this nice chunk of backdrop. SketchUp fanatics go wild...

EDIT: There's also a hastily colour-corrected Photoshop version:
