Is there a set date for the move MediaBoy, is the 18th still the 'unconfirmed' move date?

If that's the case, then BBC WN should not say that it's their studio...
though I hope there is a chance overnights will also be done here.

To me the desk looks like it can change color at any time (I assume this because in the current news channel studio when the the lighting on the desk is off it goes a darker red. They wouldn't have a black desk so its obviously turned off as you can see in the photo! Smile , but BBC world news's desk did change because I remember looking on Google images and seeing the original desk at nbh had a white top like the old one , but during piloting they changed it (sorry about the long explanation) , but I think world's desk can change color at any time as well.

Sorry if it's been mentioned before but what studio will the nc come from at 5 and 9? i can't find the page! Smile

You are right, here's a photo with the white top desk. Maybe they just switched them around, this one looks like the desk in that latest NC studio pic.

is that a test background, or they will also use the London Skyline?

You realise the above photo is of Studio C, one of the two studios BBC World News uses? BBC World News, when broadcast from that studio, use that background, while the NC from Studio E later this month will have the newsroom as its main background (a window on the newsroom, not a screen).

It's not even that background anyway. That isn't the exact same one as used on-screen now. The one actually used is slightly lighter and more blue in comparison.

And, if I'm not mistaken, I don't recall seeing that much river in the actually-used version?

A fortnight to go to find out the real score. I mean when decent previews of the actual studio E (along with features of the refreshed N24/'nationals') are imminent, I'm sure a member of staff will tweet all of us.

I believe that shot is currently being used by The Andrew Marr Show from Studio B1 (Code taken from The World's Newsroom site) what it looks like if I am not mistaken.

Isn't it just 'Studio B' - all references to the new studios by the BBC called them B, C, E, etc? Ad it would make sense to use the Marr London backdrop whilst testing, if they hadn't sorted out their own.

I believe B1 and B2 refers to each side of Studio B, although that gives the idea that two programmes could originate from there if there is enough camera's?
