Old promo vamp used too at quarter past. Interesting to hear those thunderclaps again - just shows how flat the current ones are.

They also used the old varient of the sting as well - the ending isn't as loud.

Did anyone notice an extra bit of set underneath the table in yesterday's TC7's 6 o'clock? It looked like they were trying to make the desk look a bit more like the N6 one or cover up the legs and printer etc?

What on earth was the camera operator playing at just then?

Thought it was going to crash into Huw for a minute!

Looks like he was expecting a graphic to appear and rushed it - it used to happen a lot in the early days of nationals in the Barco studios

Yep, that's what I thought. The camera op could have gone about it a tad smoother though!

It wasn't executed as smoothly as it could be, however:
A) It did NOT look like it was going to "hit" the presenter
B) It did NOT look accidental.
It looks like they are making the most of the fact they have camera operators. Its a GOOD THING that they try some complicated camera moves.
Why must you all react to something new with such p1ss and vinegar? Were they to read these forums they might think they shouldn't bother doing interesting things at all.
You'll not be happy until we go back to a whirring track cam, I presume.

Another messy headline sequence on the BBC News at One. The pictures were jumping all over the place at the first headline with Kate looking uneasy followed by the wrong clip.
Soundwise, no thunderclaps were used and there was a slight fade up problem with Kate's microphone at one point.
Everytime I tune there seems to be at least one problem at the beginning. Maybe time to pre-record the headlines?
