Emily Maitlis tweeted a photo of the set from today's rehersals. Its a shot of one of the screens from the newswall side and th3 other screen on the side of the desk. It looks identical to Worlds set.

No on screen graphics on the 6 today - including the live/locator DOG and lack of astons. Problems with Viz in TC7?

More to do with regional news rather then national but seeing as it's a question regarding all regions I'll ask it here.
Is it planned to do a refresh of regional presentation to match the upcoming refresh of the National presentation.
Nothing as drastic as titles overhauls (because if they match what World News Today, World News America and Business Edition have done with theirs then it'll be a horrible step back) or studio refits, but new astons, straps and bugs.
The reason I ask is if you remember a few weeks back we had that Stafford hospital report that meant the News Channel took up Midlands Today and all the astons and bugs lined up fine. If the regions maintain the current look then a similcast like that might look messy, look what happened between World and the News channel last Monday.

Shame MT cant move their Coming Up caption further to the left!

I suspect graphics will change but just animate by fading in the way they do now (except for NWT and Reporting Scotland which I think are the only two programmes which have animating straps).

Will there be change to the regional studios , Scotland's set really looks tired now! I think its been the same since 2007

It depends on the budget of the region. BBC NI had a set refresh late last year.
