Nice little surprise seeing Matthew Amroliwala present today's 1.
Horrid surprise seeing a rota comment in the presentation thread.
Sorry for starting a new page with snark.

With the new 11am News on BBC Two, is there any need for a continuing of BBC One's morning bulletins? They are both broadcast at roughly the same time as the 1 hour simulcast of BBC News/BBC World News.
With the 3pm update already gone, I'd have thought they'd also ditch the morning news now as well. They could lead this to make the 11am news a proper bulletin as well with the One presenter doubling up on that programme and then ending the previous NC shift to 12pm and the next shift from 12pm until 5pm. Especially since the BBC are supposed to be saving money now?
With BBC World moving as of Monday does that mean that TC7 stop being used as of Monday by BBC news?
I heard that BBC News has got the Studio until March, but I don't understand why if they are keeping it till then they don't move the Ten in as well.
I guess if they've got sole use of the studio, they could well move the Ten into that studio. It would also mean the NC wouldn't have to move.
Do we actually know where the NC will move to during that half-an-hour? Still N8, or maybe N9? Surely they won't set up N8 just for a 30 minute broadcast on the NC?

I heard somewhere that the Five and 21:00 hour on the NC will come from N8, allowing time for the Six and the Ten to rehearse in and get ready to broadcast from N6.

Well until Overnight's move I assume that they could set N8 up at 2130 and leave it on until 0600. But then if the newsroom is BBC World's Newsroom it will be empty. Also I think N9 has had all the tech removed.
It does seem a bit silly using TC7 for only 1/2 and Hour a day when it would probably suit the 10 better than N6 does.
Also on the overnights front I read somewhere that Studio E was to be used from 0200-0800. Which I think is ridiculous as Studio C will only be used from 0800-1200, 1800-1845, 2030-2045. And I assume that the 5 and 9 hours will come from Studio C as they couldn't move Studios that easily in say 4 Minutes from E to C. While I mention W1 is Newsday coming from Studio B as well?

N8 isn't an overly difficult 'studio' to run for half an hour. I'm guessing it may be on standby for a while after BBC World News move just in case anything falls over at NBH.
It was confirmed in another thread (I think the Broadcasting House one) that TC7 will continue to be the home of the 6 and 8 bulletins. What happens with the 9:30 I don't know, but I suppose there is no reason why the 10 can't come from TC7 now and they could just stay in N6 at 9:30.
