No ... went straight into the Scottish Bullietin, It started at 6pm on the dot so there wasn't really an opportunity so to do. It followed after the Weather, promo and Countdown sequence.

As so at least it wasn't a situation where it ruined the flow of the channel completly. Did Jane present the bulletin? Also is there any reason why in these situations Scotland couldn't present a 30 minute bulletin covering including the network content? I presume they could be given access to the VT's that are played out.

Most regional centres log their VTs in a way that London can access it, along with other regions if needs be.I guess this is how National/Channel/World News reports are logged too.

That's a hilarious shot! Who's that tiny desk for? An Ooompa-Lumpah?! Honestly, the depth of the shot makes that look like a coffee table, made worse because it's not on a rostrum like the main desk. Does someone actually sit behind that second desk then?!

Just seen this on the other thread, it just looks awful and silly.

I see the 3pm summary is back then on BBC1, without the regional insert though.

... for the time being ...

For the time being that the summary is back or for the time being without the regional insert?

Ironically, it is a coffee table.

It was clear on the late news for the benefit of Harshy that the red bit on the main desk is lit, you could see the glow on the rostrum Wink

The 3pm summary is back full stop (though it'll probably be dispensed with during Wimbledon fortnight). The regional bulletins make return from 2nd June.

Because to do so could reignite suggestions that that is how the six should be done all the time - the so called "Scottish Six"

I did think that. It just seems more appropriate and less disruptive to the NC - though being at TOTH it had minimal impact.

Why did they scrap it? And now bring it back? Anyone know please.

Agreed. I can't see what benefit that small desk has as it appears to be far too small for anything. It does look quite funny having the massive desk dwarfing the tiny coffee table in the background.

Breakfast seem to not be very good at continuity between days. Today as expected they are in the news channel studio, but using the Breakfast clock rather than the BBC News dog and clock. Over the weekend though they used the usual news channel dog and clock.
