No ... but it added nothing to the story. it could and perhaps should have been edited out. Probably an oversight but slack in my opinion.

Uniquely, Marylebone High Street used to get a clean feed of the bed from N6 at one time, I guess that's gone by the wayside though.

For at least the second time in two days BBC London have used the wrong headline bed during the TOTH headlines.

Watch it - that may VERY well return sooner than you think...

Its only the News 24 produced programmes the problems happen (One and Ten), so I guess that has something to do with it?

Is the ten News Channel produced or does it just share the same studio?

That was my understanding.

I thought I read somewhere in all the pre launch stuff that the One and Ten would be News 24 produced?
I could be wrong however .... ?
I thought the One was NC produced, and the Six and Ten seperate. Doesn't the Six and Ten have the same editor?

Correct. The NC team that produce the One also produce the Five and they work under Kevin Backhurst, the Controller of the NC and One/Five Editor.
The Six and Ten are produced by another team who work under Craig Oliver.
You were probably confusing the fact that the One and Ten come form the NC Studio.

I thought London lost the clean feed because the sports headlines were being done for N24 over the bed. So if the clean bed is back then that means... what?

Not quite.
For the last couple of years BBC London haven't opted out of the One, Six and Ten headlines, and instead they were cut up by the network studio, with the network sound bed added by the network news studio. This has meant that BBC London were the sustaining feed for network.
For a short period in the early 00s though, UK Today was the sustaining feed for network (originally digital only, then both analogue and digital), meaning BBC London had to opt out. When this happened, a clean sound feed of the headline vamp was fed to the Marylebone High Street studio, so even though they weren't the network sustaining feed, and weren't cut up by the network studio, they still had a feed of the network headline bed. Because they have a digital studio there was a short delay, so there was still a judder on the opt-out junction.
BBC London has a slightly more difficult task when opting out of network than most regions, because they don't actually get a feed of network sound and vision into Marylebone High Street, and so whilst other regions can do a slight sound lag on the network/local opt-out (which means it gets to both analogue and digital transmitters) BBC London can't. (ISTR that BBC London runs their late opt on fewer staff than most regions too)
