The N6 desk is more of an oval shape, all of it. The TC7 desk is also an oval shape, except for the top which is circular, making it look like the new style desks

Yep it's a 'tweaked' desk with a more oval top, as opposed to the circular one that use to be in there.

While watching Newsnight tonight (28/6/12) and I noticed a strange sequence on one of the screens at the reporters desk. It was during the telephone interview with Julian Assange and looked like an animation in the 2003 style. Not sure what the sequence was or what it was used for but was interesting all the same.

The new style desks are round - as in circular - with a huge glass surface going all the way to the edge almost - not oval...
First time this Wimbledon - the Six shifted to BBC Two.
Could someone remind me - what happens with the regions at the close of the Six?
I remember when this happened a couple of years ago, BBC London News was shown in all regions on BBC Two! The Six also had a proper close, like they do on the late bulletin at weekends.
