It's a pity the first shot is spoiled by the rather unsightly printer behind the desk. The second shot looks much neater.

I didn't even notice the printer until you pointed it out. I'm sure other people won't either.

Amazing shots. N6 really comes to life when it tries out different things. They should do things like this more often.

how long have they been running these extended trailers for the 10 O'Clock News after Eastenders?

If you mean like the one below, then for the last 6 or 7 months:

*For one presenter, or two on some BBC News outputs, a printer that size wouldn't be required? They have all of their screens inside the desk, and a small printer would easily work if its to print the notes for the presenters? A large one could easily be off camera.
