Last year I think it was just a standard hour of news hosted by Maxine Mawhinney.

Looks quite odd in the schedule having an hour long normal bulletin.

Last year we thought it was last minute as Andrew Marr was still in the schedules, I can't believe they are being so lazy again this year when it is obviously pre-planned.

No doubt it'll just be an hour of the NC with Nicholas Owen then. A really odd decision not to extend Breakfast for a few weeks..

Is that going to be mentioned as an excuse for everything now?

I doubt BBC news staff's contracts are that precise.

They should have kept Breakfast on BBC One until 8:40am, then had Match of the Day until 10am. Much less messy!

How was it introduced by the announcer on BBC1?
BN
Breakfast News
Incidentally, the Times from yesterday had it advertised as Breakfast at 9am today...

How was it introduced by the announcer on BBC1?

Here on BBC One and BBC One HD now, it's over to Maxime Mowinny in the BBC News Room.

There were no titles.

Maybe I wasn't paying attention but I don't remember seeing titles on BBC One. I no longer have it recorded to check now. Maybe you are right.

DIMBLEBOT CALCULATES THAT THIS NEW "CATCHPHRASE" SHALL REDUCE THE RELIANCE UPON "HIPPY SHAKES" AND "TEMP FILES" BY 67%
