I'd prefer all bullitins just to be labelled "BBC NEWS". "The BBC News At 10" seems so messy to me.
Although, BBC Ten O'Clock News would be much better.

Anyone noticed how the programme guides online and on tv now read BBC NEWS whereas Weekend magazine for example is 'The BBC News At 10'

Looks like they have slowed down the title sequence towards the end:

When was the 3:00/3:20 pm bulletin dropped from BBC1?

Yes, they seem to be very inconsistent with these, with some straps in the same show coming up with them, and others not....

I notice the red BBC NEWS logo on the bottom of astons is missing from the BBC1 feed of the News at One.

I see they've used the daytime background on the 10. And on the 1 theyve stopped turning the white bar around the top of the screens to red for the national bulletin.
Also, anyone know why there are now weird corners on that bar? Before it was a straight join now it's kind of like a diagonal cut and always looks discoloured when it's white...
EDIT: theyve switched back to the nighttime newsroom

Um, I'm guessing this question should go in here, as it's about the studio used for the Six... or something...
Anyway, in TC7, why is there seemingly a delay on some of the screens? When an image drops down, some of the screens are slightly ahead, so the image gets to the bottom quicker. Why is this?

Its never been a straight join. The corners have mirrors in to smooth over the join and add to the trickery of the set. They can be seen quite visibly in broadcasts of Newsround for example where the background animates 'around the set'.
