BBC National News: Presentation

As mentioned in the News Channel thread it looks like there's going to be problems for the News at Ten in terms of presentation - a block of the Barco screens has broken.

So what will have caused this to occur?

He mentioned something about needing a fuse which suggests either a video server has died from a broken fuse - or some sort of electrical connection feeding those Barco cubes has a broken fuse.

Opting for this shot on the TOTH, seated. Probably wise with the gaping black hole on the far side Barco wall.

Nothing interesting unfortunately - just sitting down for the start of the bulletin.

And a panning intro from the left:

Any Live's/OB's can be done from the right side of the studio as normal so should be fine!

Had the problem occurred in TC7 it would have been potentially harder to work around - depending on the content of Newsnight.

Anyone else having/noticing the strange sound problems from the BBC News at Six from TC7, it sounds like its all in Mono and sounds quite 'tinny'. The titles sounded terrible!
