Goodness gracious me. Those are TINY seats that Gordon and Ranvir are sitting on at the news desk above. Look like the tiny chairs I had in primary one.
Well I guess it's slightly better than last year (or was it the year before that?) when someone decided that BBC 2 could show the regional news. Forgetting that it required people to revert to analogue, that sub-opts weren't possible, and that some regions no longer had analogue.
I was in the TC7 gallery that day in TVC, it was funny to see!

In what way? It's not a problem in TC7, the problem would come at the regions galleries and in the BBC 1 MCR/Playout just down the road and maybe Broadcast Support in Birmingham.

I never said it was a problem in TC7 did I... and I do know that TC7 don't control the regions!!!
What I was saying was about the discussions that were going on between the various people in TC7 and Network controllers about how they were going to handle everything at the last minute.
There was no point in Fiona Bruce (who was on air at the time last year) handing over to the regions, if there weren't going to be any bulletins.

Ah, that's better. I imagine there were some very red faces...

News at Six with Mishal on BBC Two today due to Wimbledon continuing on BBC One. I wonder what will happen to the regional news this time?
Is it me, or is the backdrop on the ten the daytime version?
They have a more blue-ish version of the background which is occasionally used (for some reason) - this looks to be the night version of this more blue-ish background.
As mentioned in the News Channel thread it looks like there's going to be problems for the News at Ten in terms of presentation - a block of the Barco screens has broken.
