due to football, the BBC One evening news (1735-1750 on Network) is scheduled for 1800-1810 in Scotland.

The game's just gone into extra time, but that'll be why there's a sacrificial episode of Simple Suppers scheduled for 1730.

Does that mean the Network presenter will stay on the NC past 1750 up to & including the Scottish simulcast or is it musical chairs twice in ten minutes?
If it's the latter, that's daft.

The bulletin on BBC One Scotland has the BBC News bug and clock (but no ticker), which is how it looks on the NC.
Are they not able to send the N6 output without the ticker up to Scotland, or is it just cheaper/easier to take the normal NC output?

I have a feeling I asked one of the BBC News directors this on a previous opt and if memory serves me correctly it is related to the subtitling. Perhaps BBC One bulletins have to be subtitled by the news channel instead of later down the chain when it is a network wide bulletin?
