Was this lunchtimes regional/nations bulletin 60 seconds long? It seemed very rapid pace and seemed over before it started.

It was, watching on BBC One HD it counted down from 1minute.

EDIT: Tight on time because the programme before the news slightly overran, although I am sure Local News already planned in advanced it would be 1min. With another LIVE programme due at 12.15, 4mins late.

Bit of a nightmare for the regions there - on my Freeview box at least that bulletin was scheduled for five minutes, but (quite rightly) because of the historic events in Burma it was utterly squeezed.

Reporting Scotland had a disaster, with the titles sticking on screen for 20 seconds into the bulletin, and the weather map half way across the screen.

Midlands Today ran no titles, cutting straight to presenter(in this case Jackie Kabler).

Sky didn't even appear to have a regional bulletin scheduled. I'd assumed it had been cancelled this weekend due to the Lord Mayor's Show and need to get F1 Qualifying on.

The minimum scheduling appears to be 5 minutes though doesn't it?

It's often mentioned as "Followed by regional news" in the EPG entry for the national bulletin, much like they put the the 8pm headlines in the entry for the preceding programme, and 60 seconds on BBC Three.

With no Politics Show until 1530, is there a BBC1 lunchtime bulletin today?

No bulletin as far as I know, they may slot a news summary in at the end of the Remembrance programme.

They did still do the lunchtime bulletin - albeit still in the politics show, at 3.30!!

New Weather frame added to the National forecast at on the Six.

Zoomed out more, but you can still see those barco lines, no scratches on them at the minute Exclamation
