Is there any information on viewing figures for BBC World News?
It makes sense to leave overnights to BBC World News because after all, they make up most of the audience at that time of the night.

Yep - in the days when News 24 provided the service, it was probably because World was running at a loss and couldn't afford to fund it? It has always made more editorial sense (apart from on by-election nights) for World News to produce the service as they have a lot more viewers at that time of night.

It's often done like that where they are using a split-screen and only the image on the right is live.

I think they just make it up as they go along.
I've noticed some different astons on screen today. One saying 'LATER' and 'EXPECTED SOON'.

It didn't look too bad actually. The camera was moving so that it included the plasma screen in shot. It obviously wasn't meant to be done in vision but if the zoom was a bit slower it wouldn't look too out of place.
Whoops! Camera just went for a spin of its own accord. Poor Anita!
