You are correct, Clive Myrie moved from studio A to C to join Babita Sharma at 2200 as the news channel opted out of the 10.


Hadn't seen the 10 on the NC so wasn't aware of that but BBC One had Huw Edwards in Studio E. So I'm assuming no Newsday either or links to Singapore. I'm surprised though considering the sad events, the BBC in Washington isn't being used, as they are closer unless there are technical reasons that aren't permitting this.


I believe Katty Kay contributed throughout and broadcast WNA.

She's on now. I spoke too soon. I thought she would be carrying on with the simulcast. Was WNA on the WN only or the NC as well?

Yes sorry I forgot to mention that, Katty Kay was contributing from Washington from 2200 and then presented World News America at 2230 from Washington (which was simulcast on the NC). She is still contributing now live from Washington.

Noting that BBC News and World News are using different info straps, odd that.

For some reason for me at least the World feed seems to have much more detailed straps and the graphics generally look a touch better and neater to the ones on the domestic channel where they look a touch bigger.

I'm sure someone will correct me but I assume BBC News have switched to the WN gallery so they are controlling all the output. Will the overnight presenter take over at 2am?

I may be wrong with this reply, but I assumed world's gallery took over at 2200 and has been in control since.

You're right that the News Channel network switcher was cut to C at 2200.

But remember, again, there are a number of outputs from each NBH studio. They output the NC took from C was the version that keeps the domestic straps.

BBC Parliament has now had its astons revamped.

Using Helvetica on the main text, but the LIVE and Subtitles DOGs are still Gill Sans

BBC PARLIAMENT is still Gill Sans Bold - doesn't it being in bold go against BBC branding guidelines?
