Ben Brown presenting at the moment from the video wall on the News Channel solo, and after the sting, the wrong camera is chosen to show the empty desk on a wide then on a solo shot. Quickly resolved though!

I noticed Aaron Heslehurst having camera problems on BBC World yesterday morning when he was stood at the video wall too. The director didn't cut to his camera quickly enough and you could see he was getting a bit irritated. It was also a bit slow to follow him along the wall.

Is it just me or does The Papers music sound like its been lifted straight from the old News 24 era?

Loving the new intro at the TOTH or on national bulletins using the shot of the newsroom and the pan of E. Pity World News couldn't use the studio for overnights between 2am and 5am UKT so they would get the same shots. I wonder what it's like to be in NBH when they use the newsroom shot for a TOTH.

You ignore it.

No one notices. Or cares.

I meant as a member of the public being in the building. I thought the newsroom had a public gallery.

There is a public café which is the same side as the trundle cam. But nothing happens, apart from the camera going along the track.
Not entirely sure what you'd expect to happen.

It's probably much like working on the tills in Tesco with a CCTV camera panning above your head all during your shift.

Whatever happened to the beam of light that was supposed to come out of the top of the sculpture on the John Peel wing. Thought they would have featured that somehow in either the countdown or the opening to the 6 and 10.

It shines and is *very* bright.

More camera gremlins on the One O' Clock with the cameras struggling to get to the weather.

Cue the long shot for about 30 seconds whilst the cameras all whizz about to try and get to the weather in the studio, albeit framing it terribly.

Cameras not keen on Matt Taylor it seems. Didn't want to move to him so a different camera had to be used for the weather - slight funny angle with some of Scotland cut off.

Edit:

Speaking of which, did anyone else notice the focusing problems on last night's Six? George was blurry for a while before the camera managed to focus itself.
