Everytime you hear the phrase "as our entertainment correspondent Lizo Mazimba reports" you know it's going to be some very light unnewsworthy filler report.
Whether or not it is newsworthy the phrase you mentioned makes my heart sink. Awful reporter who still thinks he is reporting to 8 year olds.
Is it just me or has stand up presentation on the news channel became less freaquent , because on the first week there seemed to be a lot more than there has been over the past few days?

Well the strike was on Thursday, and then maybe because it's Easter they've decided to take things easy at the desk for a few days. Also, perhaps they realised it's not practical to constantly be there with breaking news etc.

His delivery hasn't changed from the Newsround days, he's not that bad just I still see him as a kiddies presenter.
Chris Eakin apologising for the latest robot camera cockup at 4pm, this is a shame seems to be too many issues with this Mozert system
I guess it's a DQF thing thou shall replace humans with robots.
Hmm - News 24 ran with entirely remote controlled cameras for years (with the director controlling them) as has BBC World since it moved down from the 6th floor in the late 90s. It's not as if remote controlled cameras without a dedicated operator are new. (And there have been on-air issues before the move to NBH)
Well these cockups make for good tv forum discussion I like how they fade off the bbc news logo very nice. Did they use mosart at TVC? How is the live DOG generated in the past it was Vizrt and Big Ted with the Live graphic.

BTW - it's Mosart (not Mozert or Mozart)
Speaking of which, I just remembered from Yalda's first news bulletin on BBC WN...
If BBC wants to go automation, then why are they Hybrid on Studio B?
I guess studio B is used much more flexibly particularly with sets for Andrew Marr show and potentially larger scale editions of Newsnight and so perhaps it was decided it was important to retain the flexibility of manned cameras.
