If they just sticked to One O'Clock, Six O'Clock, and Ten O'Clock.

I thought the purpose of the new bottom right graphic during the weather is that the ticker and BBC News dog / clock would remain onscreen?

Parliament ... upscaled or native HD?

Yeah me too - unless they've found they can't guarantee the angle will be correct with presenters standing in front of screens so much now.

I think the point in the change is that it now matches the graphics at bbc.co.uk/weather.

or in the case of BBC WN, the ticker & DOG is not shown during the weather, and the weather graphics just looks awkward floating a bit too high.

Just looked again at that overhead shot at the end of TVC's last hour - unless my eyes are deceiving me it's a pretty old shot as Wood Lane station sand Westfield aren't built, making it pre-2008.

Upscaled as far as I could tell.

Would hate to be the guy using the computer over George's shoulder on the left of the picture. Having the whole country keeping an eye on your screen.

Haven't seen too much of the news channel today but studio E looks stunning on BBC One HD. Very impressed.

The white pillar over George's shoulder to the right just seems to stick out from the rest of the background activity on that shot.

Still waiting for HD video from someone, hopefully it happens.

Funny how whenever they used wider shots there was someone going up or down the stairs. Also noticed many people walking very closely to the glass wall. Clearly those strict rules mentioned in one article are not that important.

Too bad the national news still ends in the same, abrupt way. Could have used this relunch to bring back a proper closing again.
