BBC National/News Channel from New Broadcasting House

I wish TV Ark can be updated as soon as possible to reflect the new identity of the BBC News operation.

Please excuse me if this has been covered and I've missed it but are there any known plans for a BBC News Channel in HD to be added to the EPG?

I wish so. TV Ark isn't updated yet even Newsnight and BBC WN are already at BH.

I don't think it will be live anytime soon I'm afraid. You won't be able to see N24's output in HD unless you tune-in to BBC1 HD during the national bulletins or wait until next week for BBC2 HD to go live (in that case tune-in at 11.00). BBC has been quite slow in rolling-out HD across its different networks and there it has 7 more channels to consider converting to HD.

I think the pan across the newsroom is a bit slow.

Is it me - during the countdown - we don't have any 'pip' sounds at 10 anymore.

Did anyone capture that full countdown going into the 1?

Will BBC consider having BBC NC HD if Freeview free some bandwidth space for BBC Three, Four HD as well, or it can be available first on Sky, Virgin?

The titles are horrid. And the Sports studio has got some new camera shots , looks good!

but without the World 'stings' They seem to have taken quite a few of the images from World's new countdowns as well.
Surprised to see the images of Lyse Doucet in Syria used, she's not exactly as well known on domestic as she is on World.

Simon McCoy and Sophie Long stood at the wall where the 10 presenter used to stand with the Barcos showing a wide shot of Telly Centre. They spoke about the history of BBC News there - and the new look coming next. They walked out the studio and N6 faded to black, including the Barcos.
