Why no local time bug?

That's a BBC World News thing only, isn't it?
Pretty much, however when the World Gallery is in charge of the rolling coverage on both stations you will see it pop up on the news channel, as well the overnights.

Could someone break down what studios are used by who please? - i've lost track!!?

Studio A - Virtual Studio (HARDtalk, Newswatch, BBC NC 9pm)
Studio B - BBC WN GMT, Impact, Global and BBC Newsnight, Andrew Marr
Studio C - BBC WN
Studio D - BBC London
Studio E - BBC NC and Nationals

Studio C may be used by N24 during at 17-18.00.

And there is no BBC Parliament refresh. That's probably because it's based out of BBC's Westminster studios.

Now that BBC NC has moved to the Broadcasting House, does this mean BBC shows like HARDtalk, Reporters (and UK Reporters for WN), and Fast:Track will now align their lower-thirds properly to the new one?

Yes - I'm a regular overnight viewer, so I've already seen it.

Love it! This is what news should look like; no virtual fake backgrounds, no stale lifeless newsrooms without depth. This new look is the definition IMHO of what news presentation should be like; it ticks all boxes.

Congratulations BBC News.

I saw HARDtalk aligned properly with the new BBC WN lower-thirds (even when it flashes on-screen).

Couldn't of put it any better.

It makes the last 4 years look very poor indeed. Was N6 pres strategically made to look a little ropey - so when they moved - they could do all this schabang I wonder?

BBC Sport are now using some new camera pans and shots from Salford.

It's nice to see the Sport and News studios looking similar - at last.

I think ever since then, it was a BBC World thing...
It's not that they need a "Local Time" bug, when they already have a clock on the lower-thirds & the channel is being broadcast on one country only.

It's a BBC WN thing I guess. The News Channel is only aired in the UK so it doesn't cover major international stories too often, I think.
