Or the Furio system that controls the 'trundlecam' and other studio cameras started getting confused by the misbehaving camera and itself then started confusing Mosart (the automation system). There are all sorts of handshake/deadlock or network storm type issues that could cause major problems.
Going back to the decamp to Studio C, did it have it's newsroom background or Londn skyline?
On the 11th at 1.30? It used the newsroom backdrop and only had Julian Woricker in the studio, Rachel Schofield started back at 2 with Matthew Amroliwala in E.
Studio N8 used to have to regularly have something done to it, in order to prevent the perspex becoming static among other things. Does Studio E have to have any such treatment?
Not that I've seen but then again none of the studios are on air for a straight 24 hours a day like N8 and N9 were. BBC World decamp to Studio B for 6 and a half hours a day on weekdays and from what I hear decamped to B for a couple of weekend bulletins this past weekend gone and Studio E shuts down for 6 and a half hours every day. Plenty of time to slot in maintenance if required
