Did anyone record the last moments from N6 - could anyone upload it for nostalgia purposes.

Yeah - it's a few pages back

It's a few pages back...

On another note, is it just me or if they keep doing the automated pan shots will just be distracting?

Very nice 'coming up' graphics connecting all the news items by the place name lines.

And since when has there been a Markets summary in the headlines?

If you compare World's desk to the News Channel's desk you can see that World's desk is definitely bigger - compare the wide shots of the News at One with those in the link above.

I do like the new on screen graphics though, much nicer imo than Gills Sans, and I like the transparency.

The only thing not quite working in the studio - and I suspect we'll see more of this as time goes on (based on WN in Studio C) is the slight shudder as the camera finally finishes some of its sweeping shots.

Love the 'coming up' graphics, by the way, all feels very dynamic. At the end of the headlines Jane just did a check of the markets - so I guess this is the replacement for the business updates?

Since they axed the business updates as part of DFQ. In other words, it's new.

This is nice, hopefully they've adapted this to cover news programming coming up on BBC One, and hopefully nothing as bad as the old version.

I really like the idea of having a breaking news section integrated into the ticker (rather than a binary standard ticker or breaking ticker ad nauseam).

However it doesn't stand out enough. I know they would be reluctant to go full sky with yellow, but even the ticker header for "SPORT" in yellow stands out more than "BREAKING".

We're yet to see lower thirds in breaking mode.
