As posted in the Sport Thread, Football Focus is moving to 12pm, so the Saturday lunchtime BBC1 news will have to move. If it is to 12.45pm, then that may impact on Dateline London which currently airs live from Studio E 12.30-1pm

The Sport Thread reports that Sportsday will air on BBC1 at 1245, followed by the news at 1pm - which is much 'neater' for the NC than having the network news at 12.45pm, and provides some consistency with weekdays

Which immediately proceeded to indicate a u-turn and start flying backwards, followed by it jumping between two spots on the line until they moved to the next item.

Flightradar is clever stuff, but dang it's website is buggy.

Is a plane taking off and landing because of a minor technical fault really worthy of national "Breaking News" coverage? This is almost literally an everyday occurrence. Heck, I've been aboard a plane that had to go into a holding pattern, dump fuel and return to the airport because of a minor landing gear issue. It wasn't all that interesting even for most people aboard the aircraft, let alone anyone else.

The recent BBC West Midlands opt out about Bollywood has just received a 'national' showing via the NC.

If it's a 787 Dreamliner (I'm assuming it is), it's probably of greater significance.

It may look silly standing on its own but bear in mind 20 minutes before it was "FLIGHT IN TROUBLE"...

Weather just before 9 live from the balcony - is it normally so this late?

Might have been a last minute job as Nina Ridge's microphone wiring and earpiece were not at all tidy round her back.

Interesting to see that, as yet there hasn't been any joint BBC News Special between the News Channel and BBC World, both channels launching their normal programs on the TOTH, (Impact on WN) before joining Mishal Hussein to anchor events from Cairo. The Feed controlled by B or C's gallery it would seem due to the appearance of 'Local Time' on the bug. Jeremy Bowen seems to be seeing some harrowing images.
