The dead space between the finish of the animation of the long titles to the studio e shot, they should have put a recorded tractor cam shot in between (I presume tractor cam is in maintenance this weekend)

Given how close the titles and music is to World News and the TVC-based bulletins, remind me why they don't just use the World News long-form titles when they can't use the ordinary ones (such as the presenter is on location)?

Could they not just use the normal ones, open with a wide shot and then pan/tilt/zoom to frame up the presenter?

When John Sopel was in Ireland for the G8 summit or Chris Eakin was in South East London for the Drummer Lee Rigby murder and other on-location things they used it.

CBS are members of ENEX, which is separate from the EBU, whose members also include Sky News. ABC is the EBU associate member in the US I believe.
